Good morning fellow bloggers and readers! Yesterday ended great! We took a little break from Sunny Sands to visit some wonderful friends of ours. Actually, they came over and gave us a ride to their house. We had BBQ’d ribs, pototo salad, baked beans and to top it all off, we had cold beer to wash it all down with. What a trip it has been so far. We engaged in intelligent conversation which I find difficult to find these days. I won’t mention names without their consent, but these folks are simply the greatest friends anyone could ever ask for! We look forward to the next time we can see them without a doubt!

Now back to MissLueffie! She’s still listing to the starboard side but that’s okay. It’s only for one more day. We thought about using the jacks to level her out, but it’s all in the adventure and we’ll look back on this and laugh many times over. After all, this is what this trip is all about, the memories.

We’ll unhook MissLueffie in the morning and head out early. Our next destination is New Port Campgrounds in Wakulla County, FL. We’ll only be there one day, and then head out again to Kolomoki, Ga. So, if we’ve peaked your interests, we hope you’ll follow our blog from day to day as we enjoy the slower pace of travel. So, if you feel a little slighted reading our blog, hang in there! Today started out wonderful! We opened all the windows to the motorhome because we have such a great breeze here at Sunny Sands, lots of wildlife, tree’s, birds and squirrels and our fat cat has gone nuts looking out each window! He seems to be more excited to be here than us and that says a lot!

Whats most interesting about where we’re camping is that MissLueffie was almost to big for our spot! The reason, is the tree’s are leaning over our spot and we didn’t want to rip off anything on the top of MissLueffie! Had to back her in real slow… We’re listing starboard and it’s hilarious! But, that’s okay, it’s all about the adventure and not the destination for us! So, if you’re wondering why we are traveling at a snails pace, that’s why.

Well, not much happened today! Pulled out of one campsite into another. Long trip, all but 60+ miles once again. Trust me, that’s how it’s gonna be every few days. Who’s in a hurry anyway!

We arrived at Sunny Sands! Nice place for a few days in Pierson, FL! Fat cat had a cow! Oh well, guess he needs more time to re-adjust to his days in a motorhome!

Oh! did I tell ya I thought he ran away? We hooked up the motorhome, got settled in, John went up on the roof to re-glue some stuff that had come loose, while I searched for fat cat! Nowhere to be found. Suddenly, he comes out of his little cubby-hole! Right under the drivers seat of the motorhome! Thought I was gonna need to call MicroChip’s newly install gizmo from just a few days ago!
