• Mercer Williams House, Savannah Ga

The Mercer Williams House was featured in the movie, Midnight in the garden of good and evil. It is a real life murder mystery! It is a breathtaking mansion with all it’s preserved beauty. A must see if you are in Savannah, Ga. The grounds are so beautiful and so is everything in the home. If you are traveling via The Old Town Trolley Tours, get your tickets from them to see the mansion and take the tour. First floor only! Tickets are more expensive if purchased at the door.

Click the link to read a plot summary of the true story about this house! Even better, if you get a chance, read the book. I’m told it’s better than the movie and closer to the facts!

  • Touring Savannah, Ga.

We toured Savannah, Georgia! We chose Old Town Trolley Tours.  Click Here  to find out more about the Trolley Tours! They picked us up at no charge at the Red Gate Farms Campground and took us to the station. We got on and off the trolley as many times as we wanted over the course of two days. All of he conductors were very nice and helpful and gave us a great history lesson on Savannah. Each gave their own spin on things, which kept it refreshing each time we boarded a trolley. The entire tour is narrated.

Our Guide even brought us back to the campground!

Below are a few favorite photos taken in Savannah, but I took over 230 in just two days! It was tough to pick just a few to share with our friends and fans.
