Well… we’ve arrived in FDR State Park, Ga. Elevation 1,104ft. Beautiful view. I suspect fat cat had a little motion sickness since he nailed himself to the motorhome floor and didn’t move until we got to our camping spot in the mountains!<\/p>\n
Anyway, we have a lovely spot next to a creek with mountain view. We’re settling in for 2 days of country camping.<\/p>\n
Now, back to fat cat! Of course you knew I’d go there didn’t you? We’ve settled in, he asleep and resting somewhat peacefully, I think… His paws are twitching, all sorts of movements in his face. Kinda makes me wonder if he’s on the prowl in his sleep. One will never know. Somehow, I have a feeling I would not want to be a part of his dreams right now!<\/p>\n
So, we’ve settled in for our first night. A nice cold glass of wine, the grill is out front, drumsticks thawing, breeze blowin through all the windows of the motorhome, didn’t think we’d use A\/C of course not! Since we’re nestled in the woods, it’s more likely than not, that we’ll get to sleep in! Listening to the creek flowing over the rocks reminds me of when I was growing up in Southeastern, Kentucky! Feels like this country girl’s comin home! <\/p>\n
